My passion is being of service to others. My journey began in a classroom setting in the Pacific Northwest, working with Severely Emotionally Disturbed children for 15 years. I took those skills with me when I moved to Los Angeles, and organized, coordinated and managed the High Noon Western Americana Antique Show and Auction, held in AZ. One of the biggest components of my job was accommodating the needs of others. In this scenario, it was special clients, including famous artists, authors, celebrities, film actors, the elite and their entourage. Though this world was fast-paced and exciting, I believed that I had a higher calling.
Those majestic Rocky Mountains pulled me back to my beloved Colorado, where I began a path of spiritual work, which included becoming an Intuitive Energy Healer, an Angelic Reiki Master, a Spiritual Counselor, Interfaith Minister, Meditation Teacher and Medium.
Through my healing work and mediumship, I found that I could help my clients to overcome their worst fears, including their fear of death. This led me to explore my own inner work around death, and the calling to be of service to others at the end of life.
Being present with a family and their dying pet is a benevolent and humbling experience. It is my honor to hold space for animals as they journey towards the rainbow bridge.
Pets are irreplaceable members of our family, and as such, their death can hurt very deeply. As a Companion-Animal End-of-Life Doula, I provide compassionate, in-home care and hospice support for senior pets, as well as those with chronic or terminal illness, and holistic and spiritual support for their human family.
I believe all life is Sacred, and in the circle of life, the end of life can be as beautiful as the beginning. I am also an LGBTQIA+ ally and advocate.
I offer the following benevolent services:
Pet Respite Care, Pet Hospice Care, Intuitive Animal Communication
Reiki for pets and their human companions (in-person or distance)
Create a peaceful environment

The Labyrinth of the Heart Center, LLC was created to support families going through pregnancy and infant loss and grief in order to honor our dead and our journeys with them in unity and love. Classes are offered to support families by learning appropriate communication skills around death, using ritual and creative arts for healing, and strengthening networks and communities. Writing classes are offered to individuals who are seeking a modality to express grief and honor loved ones. Motherhood includes all of our losses at the Center. We honor each other through compassion, and work with the ancestors who have also lost pregnancies and babies from the beginning of humanity. All are welcome at our table.
Dianna’s pregnancy with her daughter, Mary Rose, who died an hour after birth of trisomy 18, changed her life completely. Dianna wishes to change the cultural fear of death and social awkwardness around the bereaved by educating others to be present and open to the natural process of death. Miscarriage rates and infant death rates are high in our country, yet little support is available to families over the years.
She has written a poetry collection and novel and is in the process of seeking publication for both manuscripts. Find her poems, short fiction and essays online and on her YouTube channel.
My baby is dead. For five months of my pregnancy I knew that my daughter, Mary Rose, would die, though I did not know when she would die. What surprises me most is that I am alive. I am alive after the heartache of knowing about her condition, alive after holding her still body in my arms moments after her birth. Afterpains came with empty arms, as did my baby’s milk. Those months of pregnancy with the knowledge that our baby had trisomy 18 felt like a million years of sadness. . . During my pregnancy I did not find much to comfort me. I am writing the book that I wish I could have read when I was pregnant with my daughter. . .
I see life as spiritual path. I can only make sense of Mary Rose’s life if I look at it from a distance. I put myself in the context of my grandmothers and great-grandmothers. Women have been burying their children since the beginning of time. I am one woman who has walked this searing path of pain. Yet somewhere inside our hearts we have the strength to carry on, not to move on, as some would want us to do. We can continue our lives taking our babies with us. Our arms are empty, but our hearts are full. The love we have for our children, living or dead, grows. I do not believe in a final good-bye.
Dianna Vagianos Armentrout offers workshops and classes on grief and loss. Her class on Pregnancy and Infant Loss is modeled after her book Walking the Labyrinth of Heart: A Journey of Pregnancy, Grief and Newborn Death which details her pregnancy and grief journey of receiving a life-limiting diagnosis for her unborn baby mid-pregnancy. Her book has helped people let go of their loved ones at the end of their life, including Kirsty Reyes who said Dianna’s words helped her take care of her mother who was dying of Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s diseases.
Additionally, Dianna teaches poetry, creative nonfiction and fiction. She has spoken to many audiences on poetry and other topics related to creative arts in her career. She currently has classes on grief, motherhood and gardening open on her website http://www.diannavagianos.com.

Receiving the diagnosis of a terminal illness can leave a person feeling a complete loss of control over their life and their choices. When that person will die, and what symptoms they will experience, are determined by the disease or illness they have. In my work as an End-of-Life Doula, I offer my clients a sense of personal empowerment in planning for their final days and hours of life that will reflect their wishes and choices when they are no longer able to choose these for themselves. I can become an advocate to assure these plans are carried out as fully as possible, serve as a compassionate companion for their final journey, and honor their personal visions for dying well. I can also support their loved ones through this time, offering assistance unique to their circumstances. I hope to inspire others to see death as a natural transition with its own innate gifts and beauty, rather than something to be feared and avoided.
My mission is to be a compassionate companion on life’s final journey. With a calm and loving presence, I advocate for the dying person and his/her personal choices about End-of-Life decisions and care, as well as providing much-needed support for the loved ones. Having more than 30 years of experience as a hospice volunteer, along with a background in counseling and gerontology, and now as a Certified End-of-Life Doula, I feel this work is my calling. I am honored to share in this sacred space with my clients. Additionally, I am an ordained interfaith minister, trained in home funerals, and can offer guidance on green burials. I am also an LGBTQIA+ ally and advocate.
My services include, but are not limited to, the following:
Advance Care Planning Facilitator (Certified by Respecting Choices®)
Compassionate companioning for the dying person, as well as respite and support for the caregiver(s)
Guided meditation – help for anxiety and pain relief
Life review – finding meaning in a life lived
Legacy projects – leaving a creative gift, letters, or other legacy project for loved ones
Vigil planning – assisting in the design of a personal plan for the final days and hours of life

Designing, developing and officiating ceremonies including funerals, memorials, life celebrations, weddings, commitment ceremonies and house blessings

We are a spiritual center for individuals seeking meaning, purpose, and healing in The Afternoon of Life (midlife and beyond).
We are Ariela and Baruch HaLevi, co-founders of Soul Centered, and a couple who is passionate about reimagining The Afternoon of Life (midlife and beyond).
Our mission is to empower our clients and community in consciously creating new goals, proactively designing new rules, and practically implementing new tools, as they discover their innate healing wisdom, live wholeheartedly, and unleash their soul in ways that are only possible during The Afternoon of Life.
Why we created Soul Centered
Soul Centered was created to provide a place for anyone seeking to consciously face the crossroads of midlife and courageously journey through the Afternoon of Life.
For over twenty years we dreamed of building a spiritual center where people could engage in self discovery and soul exploration, uncovering deeper meaning within their struggles, realize their true purpose in this life, and experience holistic healing through all of life’s traumas and tragedies.
This dream has been motivated by professional passions, as well as personal desires.
All of our life we have longed for a spiritual home based on universal truths, drawing upon all wisdom traditions, incorporating spiritual practice, informed by intellect, infused with holistic healing and filled by people seeking conscious community, desiring to support one another on their journey.
Although we built variations of this throughout our careers, and discovered pieces of this in places ranging from synagogues and churches to yoga studios and zen centers, from counseling and healing centers to new age communities across the world, we never fully realized what we were looking for…
So, we founded Soul Centered.
As The Healer (Ariela) and The Guide (Baruch), we utilize our signature programs and pathways, empowering you to:

Uncover your authentic self and realize your true purpose (Purpose)
Express your emotions as a pathway to liberate your body and live with inner freedom (Healing)
Wake up to your spirit, letting it guide you forward in your life (Spirituality)

My professional “calling” is to create End of Life Tributes/ Celebrations for the dying. Also known as “Living Funerals”. Living funerals offer a unique opportunity for not only the guest of honor to share life stories, but for others to share stories, thoughts, quotes, poems about how the guest of honor has impacted their life. Tributes can be intimate or large and held at any type of venue.
I interview the guest of honor and any family/ friends they desire to be present. I compile my notes into a professionally crafted ceremony to include wonderful stories, poems, quotes, music, etc. The guest of honor has the final approval of the celebration. I then officiate the celebration and provide a beautiful ceremony keepsake.
Other examples of legacy projects include: audio/ video interviews, letters, memory boxes/books, mementos, seasonal: holidays, ornaments, memorial gardens, anniversaries etc.

My story of becoming an end of life doula was deeply painful, life altering and profound. My first memory of being with death is 1987 when my grandma Jeanne was dying at home in the living room. I would go sit on her hospital bed stroke her thinning hair and sing to her… I was 3 years old. This was a foreshadowing of a much harder time to come in 2016 when I lost 2 brothers, my father, grandfather and a pregnancy. I believe significant loss in your 20’s – 30’s in unique and I am here to guide you through that.
I have a gift of arranging space, transmuting and clearing energy, and an intuitive knowing of what’s needed in the final days. I consider it an honor to be in and hold this space for families. It is such an emotional time and often once their is diagnosis we don’t take the time to really understand and create a space for our loved ones to leave this world.
I offer end of life doula services which can include life review and meaning interviews, planning and sitting vigil for your final days, the creation of legacy projects and early grief re-processing. I believe grief belongs in community and for this I offer on-going monthly grief circles, grief cafes and in-person gatherings. Head over to my website for current offerings.
I am trained by the International End of Life Doula Association. Interesting facts about me: I have visited 53 countries on 6 continents, lived in China, Australia, France and Germany. I’ve sang in many bands, taught skiing in Vail, guided white water in the Glenwood Canyon, and now own a home in Englewood, CO named Walter that I am gently healing over time using permaculture principles. I offer this space on airbnb.
