Susan (Sue) Mickus, J.D., Estate Planning, Probate & Elder Law Attorney: Sue graduated from the University of Denver College of Law in 1996 and joined Skipton Law in 2019 as its Client Services Coordinator. Sue now works on the legal side with the firm’s estate planning, probate, and estate administration clients. Having experienced long-term and terminal diagnoses with each of her parents, Sue brings personal knowledge to the importance of planning for clients’ affairs during life, disability, and death. In addition to preparing complete, individualized will and trust plans for estate planning clients, Sue handles most of the firm’s probate, guardianship, and conservatorship matters. Daily, Sue helps clients manage family member’s incapacities through effective use of medical and financial powers of attorney, and if necessary, through court-appointed guardianships and conservatorships. Outside the office, Sue’s focus remains on her family, including her 22 year-old son and 18 year-old daughter.

Skipton (Skip) Reynolds, J.D., MBA, Estate Planning & Elder Law Attorney: Skip has been specializing in estate planning, elder law and asset protection planning since 2009. His emphasis is on protecting the assets of aging loved ones and educating families about complicated laws and the best options available to them. Skip is passionate about helping others preserve their money, avoid probate, and achieve lifetime estate planning goals. He utilizes his experience to bring a different perspective to estate planning and elder law clients. Skip says his number one priority is to educate and empower clients to make the best decision for them and their family. There is no one way to do things and Skip gives clients all the options, allowing them to choose which direction they want to go. Skip also gives free informational seminars on the legal issues associated with estate planning.
