Organized religion comes with baggage too heavy for some of us, but it has a purpose. Religion is a response to key human longings we all share. Things like: A need for community. We want to feel part of something, that we have a place within a larger group, and that we fully belong there. Curiosity about the ‘big questions.’ What’s the meaning of life? What happens when we die? What is the nature of reality? What is consciousness? Since we’ve been human, we’ve been compelled to grapple with the staggering mysteries of existence… Experiencing the sublime. We all seek occasions to break free from our conventional perceptions and tap into moments of wonder, awe, and transcendence. Join our Collaborative Member, Emma of Beautiful Life Beautiful Death Praysentia is a project we* created to speak to these longings. We hope to offer a truly relig-ish experience. Like in religion, we’ll be asking big questions. Unlike religion, we won’t provide answers. Instead, we’ll offer a creative framework and sacred vibes-y space for you to explore mindfully within yourself, and in community. Whether you’re just interested in meditating with music and a bunch of like-minded people, or you want to really play with your spirituality and relig-ishness, you’ll be welcomed with open arms.
