Details
I became a Death Doula following my mother’s hospice journey. I thought I knew what to expect, and I discovered no matter what I thought I knew, I was not prepared for what we experienced. I want to support others and aid in making their journey easier. Becoming a Death Doula has allowed me to combine my professional experience and spiritual training to create sacred work and hold sacred space.
While I am honored to help throughout the end-of-life process, I have discovered a passion for early planning and education, especially for young people.
I love to cook and am honored to help a family make “the special recipe” or meal together.
I am a compassionate and knowledgeable companion throughout the dying process. I guide you and your loved ones by providing multiple levels of support before, during, and after death. From life reflection to the legacy you wish to leave, I can help weave the details together. But, mostly, I am here to listen and acknowledge what needs to be shared.
Support Includes but is not limited to:
Preplanning guidance
Life Reflection & Storytelling
Family Meal Preparation
Working through regret

Creating a personal vigil or ritual for end-of-life
Visioning beyond death through a legacy project
After-death support, eulogy/ obituary writing, or celebrant duties
