My mission is to be the consistent advocate for your family. I will honor the dignity of your family and abide by the values that at so sacred to you. My steady presence and guidance is something I hope will bring you peace and comfort as we navigate this together.
My name is Kerri L’Etoile and this work has been a dream of mine for many years, I am from Cape Cod Massachusetts, where I began a career in healthcare spanning 25+ years. During this time I was privileged to work with some of the most incredible and talented people. My experience included rehabilitation and assisted living facilities, emergency room, obgyn, pain management and oncology. Working for the Cape Cod Hospital for more than 13 years gave me opportunity for the experience and education that I now have and use every day. I made the big decision to move to Colorado in 2015. Moving so far from home and family was a massive change for me. For the fist couple of years, I felt I was a little lost. In that time frame, my father passed away from a short illness with bile duct cancer. I knew I needed to find my calling, something to make a difference. After some thought, I decided to return to my family roots and study Mortuary Science. I come from a family of Undertakers going back to the 1940’s. My Great Grandfather owned, operated and lived in our family funeral home. This prompted me to look for a way to dig deeper into that passion I’ve always had. I enrolled in the Mortuary Science program at Arapaho Community College. Finishing the program in two and half years, proudly making the Deans list each semester. Shortly after completion of the program, I became a Funeral Director. After four years of what I considered an amazing fit for me, I realized I needed to do more for families. I knew families needed me to help them along this path that can be scary and uncertain. I wanted to work even closer with families and do it in the ways I knew they needed…Guiding families to face loss with less fear and more love.
With the education and experience I have, I can offer families help in so many different ways. I will be available to families short or long term to guide with the imminent passing of a loved one. Families will know I am there for them when they need me to sit vigil, answer questions and help navigate next steps. I having extensive training in ritual bathing and dressing loved ones, many different religious ceremonies, spiritual work and honesty, knowing to hear families when they know what is needed for their level of comfort.
I am versed on Colorado laws in reference to cremation and burials. I have the knowledge to help with paperwork that is needed for each and the dynamics of family that is coupled with this. I am also a Certified Notary in the state of Colorado. This can be helpful for some families regarding final disposition planning.
I am passionate about family taking care of family. I want it to be known that is is ok to be as close as you are comfortable during these times. I believe in the power of music, talking to our loved ones and being surrounded by peace and comfort.
I look forward to adding cremation jewelry and keepsakes for families in the future. Another addition is prayer cards and service folders. Please ask about these items as I am more than happy to provide these, along with slideshows.

Death is no more than passing from one room into another. But there’s a difference for me, you know.
Because in that other room I shall be able to see.
